Before you scroll down, just know that I DO NOT HATE THESE BOOKS. I've just fallen out of love with them. Looking back (or rereading) at these books, they don't invoke the same feeling I had when I first read them and the way I consumed the stories for quite a period of time. I fangirled over these books but now, it's different.
Also, it's a LOVE FREEBIE for this Tuesday. Not everything about love is sunshines and rainbows. There's also the heavy rain and thunderstorms. And that's what I'm doing for this freebie.
This is also a comeback post for me since I've been so busy with school and work but that's for another post. I won't be talking much about why I was inactive. I'm also very, very, VERY slow in commenting and blog-hopping these days but I will definitely make time once I'm not busy anymore. I got a ton of reviews and other stuff waiting to be posted.
Note: These are all my opinions and feelings. If you love these books, please don't take this personally. This is just me. Please continue to feel whatever you feel for these books without my comments here tainting your thoughts.

Shadow & Bone by Leigh Bardugo
Have you ever read a book/series or consumed any other media where the fans ruin it for you? Because I have. And it's this one. Fandom aside, this wasn't all that entertaining for me now that I think about it. I won't even lie to you, I couldn't remember much what happened over the course of this series. And I couldn't care less.
Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
This was one of my favorite duologies but like with Shadow & Bone, I couldn't also remember much what happened here. Also, some people from the book community (whether you're in Twitter, Goodreads, Tumblr, the blogosphere, etc.) need to stop making these books as some kind of blueprint example for diversity in books because it's not.
Shadowhunters.... in general by Cassandra Clare
These books will always have a place in my heart but the more Shadowhunter books there are, the less I am interested in them. The Infernal Devices is still one of my favorites but comparing the kind of love I had for it back then to now? It's just not the same... and I'll be honest that the very main reason why I'm lowkey interested in Chain of Gold is for a glimpse of Will Herondale because I miss him so much. That's it.
The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater
I admit that when I first read The Raven King, I was just too overwhelmed at the fact that it would be the last book. What I didn't see was how much it lacked a plot and how the hype over Gansey's... you know... wasn't worth it during the events of this book. Overall, the series just lost its touch for me.
Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire
This was my first NA romance book and while I'm grateful for this being the book that got me into NA, looking back, I was so enamored with this that I didn't really see how much this wasn't really my cup of tea - romance and characters. All of it.
Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs
This was fun and entertaining at first but I lost interest during A Map of Days. And ever since, I didn't really bother rereading my favorite scenes anymore. The fact that it's still ongoing is kinda another thing why I strayed away.
Addicted Series/Calloway Sisters by Krista & Becca Ritchie
This was the hardest one for me. These characters and their stories were all so special to me. And i like to think back about the fun times I had with the fandom during Tumblr days. But now? It shifted. I won't go into detail on why because this one is personal and I like to keep it in the past. However, Lily Calloway and Loren Hale plus their kids (the kids in this series because I like to ignore the spin-off) will always hold a place in my heart.
Again, these are personal feelings. And I shared them here openly and honestly with you all. I can't just talk about books I love and like. There will be times I'm gonna share the ones that disappointed me, upset me, frustrate me, or the ones that fell into this category.
Anyone got a book they've fallen out of love of?
