TTT #19: 58 Books From Different Genres

I know, I know. Today's topic is supposed to be Most Anticipated Book Releases for the First Half of 2020 but I'm not doing that. I mean this is still my MOST ANTICIPATED BOOK RELEASES post but it's just not specifically for the first half of 2020. This is just a list in general of the books to be releases this year that I want to read.

I'm not including 2020 releases of books I've already read in this post.
I've also limited 10 books per section. I have waaay more books I'm excited for but I just narrowed it down to 10 because it's... top TEN Tuesday noreallyidontwantthistobeaverylongpost

This list is quite long so I didn't bother adding info of each individual book because this could go on forever. Instead, click on the covers and you'll be directed to the book's Goodreads page.

FROM MY PREVIOUS TOP TEN TUESDAY POST
(let me just add them here because it gets repetitive if I'll add them to this list again)

YOUNG ADULT CONTEMPORARY
(a lot... or majority of these are contemporary romance)

YOUNG ADULT FANTASY
(since I've posted a bunch of fantasy from my prev TTT, here's another group of them)

ADULT/NEW ADULT CONTEMPORARY ROMANCE
(I just realized I don't have that much romance in my 2020 TBR)

THRILLERS / MYSTERIES / HORROR

SEQUELS / PART OF OF A COMPANION SERIES

That was quite a post..

So, what about you?
What books are you anticipating for?

  1. So much awesome looking stuff on the way. I love the covers on the YA contemps... that whole cover style is just working for me lately. One Of Us Is Next, the Sundown Motel and Zoe Spanos all look awesome too. Can't wait to rad those three.

    1. I love love LOOOVEEE illustrated covers. I feel like they tell you what the book's about without giving the story away. AND YES TO THOSE THREE! I'm so eager to read more thriller/mystery this year and so many upcoming books from the said genre sound intriguing.

    1. Right?? The covers are just *heart eyes emoji*
Same, and I haven't read the second book because I am waiting for the third book's release date to come. I want to read The Empire of Gold with a fresh memory of the events of The Kingdom of Copper. I just recently discovered Seven Deadly Shadows but it immediately landed on my TBR.

  6. I’m definitely excited for The Honey-Don’t List. Any new release from Christina Lauren makes me happy. :) And Rage and Ruin seems sooo far off! June feels like forever to wait to find out what happens after that ending in Storm and Fury!

  8. I see so many books I have read or want to read. Obviously, YA contemporary is all about my TBR/Read shelf. LOVED Tweet Cute. It was perfection for me. Every Other Weekend was near perfect (4.5 stars). Also really enjoyed Loveboat, Taipei. I will definitely read more of Wen's work. All the other YA contemporaries are on my TBR and they all sound amazing! I am reading Worst Best Man at the moment, and I am enjoying it. Though I am not a fan of brothers dating the same woman, I like the dynamic between the hero and heroine. I think every other one of the adult contemporaries are also on my TBR. I read two of the sequels. I loved Marriage on Madison. It was my favorite of the three, and I rated Love Her or Lose Her higher than it's predecessor as well. I adored the couple and loved cheering for them to find their way back to each other. So many good books on this list!

    1. I also feel like Marriage on Madison Avenue is going to be my favorite out of the three. I've been looking forward to Audrey's book ever since I found out about the best-friends-to-lovers trope it'll serve. I got Loveboat, Taipei and I'm so excited to read this especially knowing how positive the feedback are and seeing the Asian representation.

  15. I'm not really a sci-fi reader, but am curious about "The Stars We Steal" (sounds interesting!); "Tweet Cute" is quite fun so far (started it but have to now finish); "The Upside of Falling" simply LOOKS adorable (hope it is inside too!); and I just recently saw "The Princess will Save You" somewhere. It sounds fun! Hope you enjoy ALL of these, and many thanks for the Finding Wonderland visit last week. :)

  16. Hallo, Hallo Chai,

Finally came to your blog and it felt like a refreshing spin on the topic! Everyone seemed to be picking the same books over and over again; I loved how you took the topic and ran with it! :) Likewise, I was delayed until today to even respond as I had a rocky January! I loved how mine turnt out if you wanted to see which are my Top Most Anticipated Reads for the First Half of 2020?. I can't wait to look into these stories and leave you a note about the ones which interest me most to read! Thanks for such a lovely rounding of genres & selections!!
